WARNING
(Taguig City). The Office of the Secretary of the Department of Energy (DOE) has received numerous reports that there are unscrupulous individuals using the name of Secretary Alfonso G. Cusi asking for sensitive information with regard to our stakeholders such as contact numbers for unexplained reasons.
We advise the public, particularly the industry participants, that such solicitations are not authorized by Secretary Cusi.
The DOE also received calls pretending to be the Executive Secretary. After validating, it also turned out to be fake.
We encourage the public to report any suspicious communication from these individuals or groups and to verify the authenticity of any message through the DOE Trunkline No. 479-29-00.
