BENEFITS OF POWER: Department of Energy-Electric Power Industry Management Bureau (DOE-EPIMB) Director Mario Marasigan welcomes participants to the Public Consultation on the new guidelines in the administration of financial benefits to host communities under the Energy Regulations No. 1-94 program.  Through this program, generation companies and/or energy resource developers give one centavo per kilowatt-hour (P0.01/kWh) of its total electricity sales as a financial benefit to the host local government unit, region and indigenous cultural communities/peoples.
