Department of Energy (DOE) Secretary Alfonso G. Cusi met with oil industry players yesterday (20 August) to discuss possible measures to curb inflation.

In addition to the “Euro II diesel option” for consumers, particularly those with vehicles without the catalytic converter (referring to 2015 models of vehicles and below), Sec. Cusi discussed other issues, including the implementation of the Biofuels Law, fuel markings, and other additional discounts for consumers.

“We should continue to find ways, as one sector, to address these issues for our consumers and for our economy,” said Sec. Cusi.
