A. Power Generation Plants

• All power generation plants in the affected areas are under NORMAL OPERATION. 

• As per National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) grid update, there is sufficient level of supply and reserves as of 6:00 AM today, 10 September 2021:

LUZON (NORMAL)
 Available Capacity: 12,039 MW 
 Peak Demand: 9,765 MW
 Regulating Reserve: 382 MW
 Net Operational Margin: AM = 1,892 MW; PM = 1,892 MW; EVE = 2,502 MW

VISAYAS (NORMAL)
 Available Capacity: 2,568 MW 
 Peak Demand: 1,829 MW
 Regulating Reserve: 30 MW
 Net Operational Margin: AM = 709 MW, PM = 624 MW; EVE = 441 MW

B. NPC Dam Status

• As of 8:34 AM today (10 September 2021), all NPC dams are NORMAL (no spilling operation) except for the following dams with on-going spilling operation but will not cause flooding in the flood warning zone:

 Ambuklao 
 Binga
 Lake Lanao
 Agus 4 

C. NPC Small Power Utility Group (SPUG)

• As of 9:00 AM on 10 September 2021, the San Jose DPP in Romblon has been 100% energized, Moreover, the feeders and transmisison lines in the Masbate 69kV T/L has been energized. Diesel Power Plants (DPPs) in Romblon, Marinduque, Batangas, Isabela, Catanduanes, Northern and Western Samar remain partially restored. DPPs in Apayao, Albay, Masbate, Antique, Iloilo, Biliran, Southern Leyte, and Surigao del Norte are still operational but on standby due to the ongoing inspection and clearing of distribution lines.

D. Transmission Lines

• As per NGCP report as of 8:00 AM on 10 September 2021, power transmission operations in Visayas are back to normal operations as NGCP successfully completed the restoration of lines affected by Severe Tropical Storm Jolina.

• Normalization of the Visayas grid came after the last affected line, the Calbayos-Bliss 69kV line, was restored at 7:33AM of 10 September. Transmission services in other affected areas are now under normal operations. 

• NGCP will continue to monitor the weather system due to Typhoon Kiko and will provide updates when necessary.

Manila Electric Company (Meralco)
• As per MERALCO, there were 21 circuits affected due to Automatic Load Dropping (ALD) that occurred at around 1056H on 8 September 2021, caused by the tripping of New Makban S/S-Batangas 230kV Line 1 isolating San Gabriel Plant, San Lorenzo Modules 50 and 60 and Avion 1 with a total load of 734MW. This resulted in momentary power interruption in the portions of NCR, Laguna, Quezon, Cavite and Batangas. All circuits serving approximately 540,595 customers were restored as of 1110H on 8 September 2021.

E. Distribution Utilities/Electric Cooperatives

National Electrification Administration (NEA)
• Based on NEA’s Power Monitoring Report as of 1500H on 9 September 2021, the following are the affected ECs with their percentage of household connections that have been restored:

 BATELEC II: 254,484/343,555 (74.07%)
 QUEZELCO I: 159,430/191,639 (83.19%)

• TIELCO has been 100% restored as of 1500H on 09 September 2021.

• NEA reported a total of 1,254,649 out of 1,590,639 or 78.88% household connections that have been restored in the affected ECs as of 1500H on 9 September 2021. 

• Furthermore, MARELCO reported an estimated damage cost of PHP 308,317.66 while ROMELCO with PHP 6,014,310.60. The total estimated damage cost of affected ECs as of reporting amounts to PHP6,322,628.26.

• ALECO, CEBECO II, DORELCO, LEYECO II, LEYECO IV, SAMELCO I, LEYECO III, FLECO, TIELCO, and SOLECO experienced power interruptions but are back to NORMAL OPERATIONS.

F. Oil Supply

STATUS OF INVENTORY

• As of 30 August 2021, the industry has enough inventory equivalent to 30.4 days of finished petroleum products (excluding 6.1 days of crude oil) to cover the country's requirements per monitoring of submitted reports of the oil companies. No reported oil supply shortage was received as of to date.

STATUS OF DOI FACILITIES

• As of 9 September 2021, all stations of Shell, which are previously reported closed, have resumed operations. Thus, all monitored facilities (for bulk and retail) are now operational.
