Based on the latest report of the Task Force on Energy Resiliency:
1. The power outage that affected Northern Samar has been restored by the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) at 4:48PM yesterday (14 September).
2. The areas serviced by Cagayan 2 Electric Cooperative (CAGELCO 2) in Sanchez Mira, Pamplona, Sta. Praxedes, Claveria, Abulug, Luna and Pudtol in Cagayan Province experienced power outage since 5:38PM. The CAGELCO 2 continues to monitor the situation and will dispatch the restoration teams once it is determined to be safe to restore the power.
3. There is a power outage caused by a toppled tree in the MERALCO franchise area that affected Brgys. Tanong, Sto. Nino, Sta. Elena in Marikina and Brgy. Santolan in Pasig since 5:38PM. MERALCO Restoration Crew on-site has been dispatched and the Santolan circuit has been restored at 9:59PM last night (14 September).
4. As of the 8:00PM report of the National Power Corporation, water spill operations were still ongoing at the Ambuklao and Binga Dams in Benguet with water levels at 749.74 meters above sea level (masl) and 572.73 masl, respectively. Said water spills are being conducted with utmost caution to maintain normal water level in the reservoir.
The DOE family continues to assure the public that the entire energy sector is actively monitoring the situation on the ground, and is responding to all reported power disturbances.
